Dr. Zahid Asgher
Dr. Zahid Asgher is Diplomate American Board of Pathology-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology trained at Millard Fillmore Hospital Buffalo N.Y. USA from 1987 to 1991. He received his medical degree (MBBS) from Dow Medical College Karachi, Pakistan (1979-1985). Dr Zahid Asgher served on the staff of Corning Hospital, Coring N.Y. USA Department of Pathology from 1991 to 2013 as chairman of the department. During the same time period he served as lab director at Schuler Hospital Montour Falls N.Y, USA. Dr. Zahid Asgher also served as Asst. Lab Director at St. Joseph Hospital, Elmira N.Y. USA (1995-2006) Iradavenport Hospital Bath N.Y. USA (1992-2006) and St. James Hospital Hornell N.Y. USA (2000-2006). From 2013-2015 Dr. Zahid Asgher served as Chief of Pathology at Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg V.A. USA. Dr. Zahid Asgher has subsequently joined Doctor’s Hospital and Medical Centre in September 2015 as Chairman Department of Pathology. Dr. Zahid Asgher has a vast experience in surgical pathology / histopathology, cytopathology and various sections of clinical lab including Blood Banking, Microbiology, Hematology, Chemistry and coagulation. He holds a position of clinical assistant professor of pathology at Syracuse university hospital NY USA. He is appointed as assistant professor in the Department of pathology at Lahore medical and dental college since mid 2016.
